Job summary

Hyatt Regency Chesapeake Bay Golf Resort, Spa and Marina in Cambridge, MD, seeks an Outlets Manager to lead all hotel F&B outlets and drive guest satisfaction. You will plan operations, develop budgets, and implement marketing programs while coaching staff to Hyatt standards.

The role requires 4+ years of progressive F&B management, strong leadership and Excel skills, and flexibility for evenings, weekends, and holidays. Competitive benefits accompany this position.

Qualifications

• 4 years or more of progressive hotel F&B management experience (preferably with Hyatt).
• Service oriented style with professional presentation skills.
• Proven leadership skills and strong communication abilities.
• Hotel/Hospitality degree an asset.
• Must be able to work flexible shifts including nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Oversee short and long-term planning and management of hotel outlet operations.
• Develop and manage budgets, concepts, and objectives within approved plans.
• Implement and maintain F&B sales/marketing programs.
• Direct development of employees, hire/train/coach staff, and conduct reviews.
• Manage payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budgets for F&B outlets.
• Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure guest satisfaction.
• Resolve customer complaints to maintain high satisfaction and quality.
• Ensure Hyatt service standards and DoH compliance through daily walk-throughs.
• Guide employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures.

The Outlet Manager oversees all food and beverage outlets within the hotel.

What You’ll Do:

• Responsible for short and long-term planning and the management of the hotel outlet operations in the front and back of the house
• Develop and recommend the budget, concepts and objectives and manage within those approved plans
• Implement and maintain food & beverage sales/marketing programs
• Direct and oversee development of employees
• Hire, train, empower, coach and counsel, performance and salary reviews
• Direct the implementation of the payroll, reports, forecasts, inventory and budget for F&B outlet operations
• Coordinate outlet operations with other hotel departments to ensure efficient guest service
• Resolve customer complaints as appropriate to maintain a high level of customer satisfaction and quality
• Implement procedures to increase guest and employee satisfaction
• Exercise quality control for both food and beverage
• Maintain Hyatt standards of service and ensure their implementation
• Perform daily walk-through to ensure full compliance with Department of Health regulations and Hyatt Corporate standards
• Coach and counsel employees to reflect Hyatt service standards and procedures
