Job summary

Alabama Goodwill Industries (AGI) seeks an Assistant Team Lead to oversee Outlet operations, drive profitability, and ensure safe, efficient handling of donated goods. You will assist with staffing, training, scheduling, inventory control, and communications with vendors, while upholding AGI policies and providing leadership to frontline team members.

This role requires a commitment to mission service, ability to work evenings/weekends, and a valid driver's license.

Qualifications

• Minimum two years of supervisory experience in a retail setting preferred.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Strong leadership and verbal/written communication skills.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in non-climate-controlled environments.

Responsibilities

• Assist with managing and coordinating Outlet operations for maximum profitability.
• Support hiring, training, supervising, and evaluating team members per AGI policies.
• Oversee inventory control, scheduling, and labor/Payroll within budgetary guidelines.
• Ensure safe handling of donated goods, hazardous materials, and vehicle operations.
