Job summary

Omni Interlocken Resort in Colorado is seeking a part-time Restaurant Outlet Server to deliver warm, personalized service in a fast-paced setting. You will greet guests, take orders, upsell items and ensure accurate checks while maintaining knowledge of menus and beverage offerings, including wine.

The position requires at least 1 year of serving experience, a professional appearance, and the ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays. Benefits are available for eligible associates.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year serving experience in a high-volume or upscale hotel outlet.
• Knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Ability to work evenings, weekends and holidays.
• Unexpired Food Handlers certification and TIPS alcohol certification.

Responsibilities

• Greet and assist guests, anticipate needs and respond to inquiries.
• Provide warm, professional service and follow steps of service.
• Maintain knowledge of menus and beverage offerings including wine service.
• Take orders, upsell and present checks accurately.
• Assist in seating guests and answering restaurant phones as needed.
• Coordinate with culinary team for dietary needs and special requests.
• Record orders in MICROS and ensure proper payment processing.
• Cross-train across other F&B outlets as needed.

Salary for this position is (based on experience): $12.14/hour plus gratuities.

Responsibilities:

• Acknowledge and greet all guests, anticipate guest needs, and respond to guest inquiries or requests.
• Provide outstanding service to members and guests in a friendly and professional manner, following proper steps of service.
• Must maintain full familiarity with menus and knowledge of beverage offerings, including wine service.
• Complete station set-up and breakdown/side-work.
• Polish and clean all water glassware on assigned station during each shift.
• Take food and beverage orders and upsell as often as possible.
• Be pleasant, smile and greet all guests using surnames when obtained.
• Send orders using MICROS systems.
• Communicate with the culinary team regarding meal requirements, allegories, dietary needs, and special requests.
• Alert Restaurant Manager immediately if a guest has a suggestion, complaint or issue.
• Present accurate check to guests and process payment.
• Assist in seating guests and answering phones for the restaurant as needed.
• Crosstrain among other food and beverage outlets as needed.
• Perform any other duties assigned by the restaurant manager.

Qualifications:

• Must have a minimum of 1 year of serving experience, preferably in high volume and casual environment or part of an upscale hotel restaurant outlet.
• Must adhere and agree to compensation acknowledgement and tip reporting guidelines.
• Must have knowledge of wine, spirits, and beer.
• Must be able to work a variety of shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
• Maintain a professional business appearance, attitude, and performance.
• Must have unexpired Food Handlers and TIPS alcohol certification obtained upon hire.
• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to lift, push, pull, place, and carry objects weighing up to 50lbs.
• Must have OPEN availability and must be able to work ALL Holidays.
• This position will be open and posted until filled, with a minimum posting period of three days.
