Hyatt Regency Jersey City on the Hudson in Jersey City, NJ is seeking an Assistant Outlet Manager to lead restaurant and room service operations for breakfast, lunch and dinner under the Outlets Manager. You will supervise staff, hire and train, and help ensure guest satisfaction through quality hospitality and efficient service.

Candidates should have more than two years of post-high school education, two years in a related role, and hotel experience.

Qualifications

• More than two years of post-high school education.
• Two years of full employment in a related position.
• Hotel experience preferred.
• Supervision/ management communication skills required.
• Knowledge of hotel operations and budgeting basics.

Responsibilities

• Manage day-to-day restaurant and room service operations under Outlets Manager.
• Interview, hire, train, develop staff and evaluate performance.
• Forecast and monitor budgets to maximize revenue and control costs.
• Ensure compliance with safety, quality and hospitality standards.
• Maintain effective communication with supervisors and guests.
