Job summary

Sportsman’s Warehouse Outfitter – Part-time in Southaven, MS. You will deliver outstanding customer service by greeting customers, sharing solid product knowledge, and creating a welcoming, safe in-store experience for all shoppers.

Responsibilities include assisting with purchases, returns, and exchanges; maintaining shelves and displays; stocking freight; and supporting inventory, merchandising, and seasonal projects.

Qualifications

• Must be able to stand for extended periods.
• Ability to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Flexible schedule including evenings and weekends.

Responsibilities

• Deliver exceptional customer service by greeting customers, identifying needs, providing product recommendations, and creating a welcoming shopping experience.
• Demonstrate product knowledge across multiple departments to assist with merchandise selection and answer questions accurately.
• Process customer purchases, returns, exchanges, and other transactions accurately while following company policies and cash handling procedures.
• Maintain merchandising standards by stocking shelves, facing product, rotating merchandise, building displays, installing signage, and keeping the floor clean and visually appealing.
• Receive, unload, verify, and process incoming freight with inventory accuracy and timely replenishment.
• Assist with backroom organization, inventory management, cycle counts, price changes, and maintaining stock levels.
• Operate material handling equipment and safely move merchandise as trained.
• Maintain department cleanliness and ensure aisles and work areas are safe.
• Support seasonal merchandise transitions, promotions, store resets, and special projects.
• Collaborate with Outfitters and leadership to meet sales, customer service, operational, and inventory goals.
• Follow all company policies, safety procedures, loss prevention standards, and applicable regulations.
• Maintain regular, reliable attendance and a flexible schedule including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
