Job summary

Amazon in Fishkill, NY is seeking a Transportation Associate to support yard operations, trailer moves, and coordination of in-yard activities. You will work outdoors, follow DOT and safety rules, and help ensure on-time trailer arrivals and departures.

This role requires a valid driver's license, 21+ age, ability to lift up to 49 pounds, and the stamina for up to 12-hour shifts, including nights and weekends. Starting pay is $27.55–$29.55 per hour, with potential CDL training paid by Amazon.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver's license.
• 21 years of age or older and able to read English safety guidelines.
• High school diploma or equivalent.

Responsibilities

• Perform trailer moves in the yard and coordinate yard activities to ensure on-time arrivals and departures.
• Operate CMVs on yard or non-public roads and follow DOT regulations and Amazon safety policies.
• Complete driver vehicle inspection reports and notify management of issues.
• Support site operations teams and carriers, and train peers when needed.
• Drive and maneuver trucks, load/unload using approved equipment, and track working hours.
