Carter Lumber in Plymouth, MA is hiring for a Yard Associate to work with a team outdoors, loading orders, and maintaining yard inventory. You will help customers select materials, pull and stage orders for pickup or delivery, and stay organized in all weather conditions.

The role emphasizes strong customer service, reliability, and a willingness to work as part of a team in a hands-on environment. Training for forklift operation will be provided as needed.

Responsibilities

• Assist contractors and do-it-yourselfers with selection and loading of their order.
• Pull and stage materials to be picked up and/or delivered.
• Help maintain Yard inventory by conducting cycle counts.
• Keep the Yard organized and clean.
