The Yard Hand position is a hands-on role at a biofuels plant, focusing on outdoor equipment, loading trucks/railcars, and moving materials. Requires a high school diploma or GED, and the ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work outdoors in varying weather.

Schedule is 12-hour rotating shifts, 7 AM-7 PM or 7 PM-7 AM. Operate a front-end loader, Bobcat, SkyTrak and Trackmobile, weigh trucks, perform grain testing, fuel and inspect equipment, and keep production/shipping records while assisting plant

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED is required.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
• Outdoor work and exposure to varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Operate front-end loader, Bobcat, SkyTrak, and Trackmobile.
• Load trucks and railcars.
• Weigh incoming/outgoing trucks.
• Perform grain testing for moisture, protein and aflatoxin.
• Fuel, inspect and maintain equipment.
• Clean the yard and work areas.
• Complete checklists and production/shipping records.
• Assist plant operators when needed.
• Work around moving equipment and outdoors in varying weather.
• Lift up to 50 lbs and climb ladders.
