Job summary

Sprague Operating Resources LLC is hiring a Fuel Yard Operator for the Springfield, NH site. The role involves moving, storing, blending and feeding biomass fuel for a biomass-fired power plant, with a Monday–Friday schedule and occasional weekend work.

Ideal candidates will have a high school diploma, 2 years of equipment operation experience (loaders, tractors, forklifts) and strong safety and communication skills to support safe plant operations.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or equivalent.
• Experience operating loaders, tractors, forklifts and other equipment.
• Good oral and written communication; must be able to perform physical duties.

Responsibilities

• Operate and load in a safe and efficient manner.
• Ensure adequate flow of blended fuel to boiler.
• Manage fuel piles and maintain cleanliness of rolling stock and fuel systems.
• Report unsafe or abnormal conditions to supervisor or plant manager.
