Job summary

Northwest Exterminating is seeking a Wildlife Technician (Biotech) to protect homes and communities by wildlife exclusion and removal. Start rate $17-$20 per hour and comprehensive training is provided.

You will build relationships with customers, perform exclusion work on rooftops, set traps, and follow safety protocols. A company vehicle and benefits are included, with opportunities for growth across the Southeast.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or equivalent required.
• No prior experience necessary.
• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license required.
• Ability to work in the field independently and manage route-based assignments.

Responsibilities

• Customer Relationships: Build strong connections with internal and external customers, creating “Customers for Life.”
• Wildlife Services: Provide wildlife exclusion services and animal removal at customer locations.
• Set up exclusion traps, cut flashing, and form hardware cloth to specifications.
• Work safely on rooftops and use a safety harness when needed.
• Perform basic repairs in areas damaged by animals using tools, sheet metal, and screening.
• Maintain knowledge of federal, state, and local regulations regarding wildlife exclusion and removal.
• Service & Sales: Follow a service schedule within your assigned territory, ensuring safe and timely visits. Educate customers on wildlife services, and work to meet or exceed monthly sales goals.
• Collaboration: Partner with internal teams such as customer service, sales, and management to deliver exceptional customer service.
• Safety First: Prioritize safety in all aspects of your work, including handling company equipment and vehicles.
