Job summary

ArborWorks, LLC in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Non-Union Vegetation Control Technician to support vegetation management around utility assets. This outdoor, hands-on role emphasizes safety, accurate documentation, and teamwork to keep access roads and rights-of-way clear.

You will operate tools and equipment, follow work orders, and report hazards. Travel up to 100% may be required; a valid driver’s license and CPR certification are preferred, with a high school diploma or GED recommended.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred.
• Relevant vocational or technical training is beneficial.
• Minimum six months of vegetation management or related experience preferred.
• Experience operating vegetation management equipment and hand tools preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform vegetation control around utility poles, rights-of-way, and access areas.
• Trim, cut, clear, and remove brush and trees using hand tools and machinery.
• Operate vegetation management equipment safely and efficiently.
• Complete work orders accurately within production standards.
• Identify and report hazards, damaged equipment, or unsafe site conditions.
