Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking hardworking individuals to perform outdoor utility locating. You will locate and mark telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines, document findings, and photograph each site. Training is provided, and prior locating experience is welcomed but not required.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).
• Valid driver’s license and a clean driving record.
• Able to read locate tickets, maps, and prints.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently in designated areas.
• Accurately mark locations, complete required documentation, and photograph each locate.
• Support daytime, full-time shifts with potential overtime including nights, weekends, and on-call duties as needed.
