Job summary
USIC Locating Services, LLC seeks individuals to accurately locate underground utilities in outdoor field conditions. You will work independently in the field with a company vehicle, using our ticketing systems to mark and document locates for telecom, electric, gas, water, and sewer lines.
No prior locating experience is required, though experienced locators are encouraged to apply. The role demands safety focus, willingness to work in varying weather, and availability for overtime, weekends,
Qualifications
- Willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
- Proficiency with technology and tickets/maps/documents.
- Able to pass a drug screen and maintain a safe driving record.
- Able to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
Responsibilities
- Locate underground utilities (telecom, electric, gas, water, sewer) accurately and safely.
- Mark locations on site and document and photograph each locate.
- Work daytime, full-time with potential overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts.
