Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking field locate technicians to join our outdoor, safety-focused team. This full-time role pays $20.00 per hour and requires contractors to work in various weather conditions with a strong emphasis on safety. No prior locating experience is required, though experienced locators are encouraged to apply.

Technicians will locate underground utilities, document findings, and use our ticketing systems. A valid driver’s license and clean driving record are essential.

Qualifications

• Able to work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record
• Able to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position)
• Able to read, understand locate tickets, maps, and prints

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and efficiently, including telecommunications, electric, gas, water, and sewer systems.
• Thoroughly search designated areas, mark locations, complete documentation, and photograph each locate
