Job summary

USIC Locating Services, LLC is seeking full-time field locators to identify and mark underground utilities across designated areas. You will operate in outdoor conditions, use company vehicles, and follow safety protocols to temporarily and accurately locate utilities for excavators and property owners.

Starting pay is $23.00 per hour for new locators, stepping up to $30.00 per hour with substantial locating experience.

Qualifications

• Able and willing to work outdoors in various weather conditions.
• Proficiency with technology.
• Available to work overtime, weekends, and on-call shifts as needed.
• Valid driver’s license and a safe driving record.
• Able to lift up to 75 lbs and work in confined spaces.

Responsibilities

• Locate underground utilities safely and accurately, marking the location and documenting each locate.
• Photograph each locate and complete necessary paperwork for the ticket.
