Elm-Utility-Services in Kent, WA seeks a Utility Locate Technician to perform daily locate and marking of underground utilities using paint, flags, and tools, ensuring safe excavation. You’ll work with a company vehicle and flex schedule, and use the LaunchPoint software for task management.

This safety-sensitive DOT role requires a valid driver’s license, ability to pass background checks, and willingness to travel across the Canadian border occasionally.

Qualifications

• Pass pre-employment drug test, MVR, and background check.
• Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliant with regulations.
• Must be 18+ with a valid passport/enhanced license for occasional cross-border travel.

Responsibilities

• Independently locate and mark utilities on a route daily.
• Use marking paint, flags, and markers to clearly identify underground facilities.
• Receive daily tasks via mobile work system and work overtime/nights/weekends as needed.
