ELM Utility Services in Montrose, CO seeks a Utility Locate Technician to mark and verify underground utilities for safe excavation. You will work from a company vehicle, using marking paint and flags to complete daily locate routes across the region.

The role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver's license, and the ability to pass pre-employment checks. On-call rotation and possible overtime are required. Benefits are included.

Qualifications

• Must pass pre-employment drug test, background check, and MVR.
• Safety-Sensitive DOT position compliant with all DOT regulations.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a valid driver’s license.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities using marking paint and flags.
• Travel in company vehicle to daily locate requests and complete routing.
• Be available for on-call rotation and overtime including nights/weekends.
• Operate mobile work system for daily tasks.
