Job summary

Elm-Utility-Services is seeking a Utility Locate Technician to cover the Bellevue/Newcastle, Washington area. You will locate and mark underground utilities to prevent damage during excavation, using marking paint, flags, and a mobile work system, while driving a company vehicle to daily sites.

This safety-sensitive, DOT-regulated role requires a high school diploma or GED, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to obtain a passport or enhanced license for occasional cross-border travel to

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED and at least 18 years old.
• Valid driver's license.
• Passport or enhanced license for Canadian border travel.

Responsibilities

• Locate and mark underground utilities accurately using marking paint, flags, and whiskers.
• Complete daily locate requests from a mobile work system.
• Work independently outdoors with a company vehicle.
• On-call rotation and overtime, including nights and weekends when necessary.
