Job summary

USIC, America's leader in underground utility damage prevention, is hiring Drop Bury Technicians. You will locate utilities, mark sites, and perform trenching work for residential and commercial sites.

Responsibilities include operating digging tools, documenting work with photos, and maintaining safety and compliance with OSHA standards. Training is 100% provided, with a company vehicle and benefits.

Qualifications

• Strong interpersonal communication skills are important.
• Problem solving mindset and safety focus.
• Willingness to work outdoors and in varied weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Reference records, maps, and prints to locate and mark underground facilities.
• Operate digging equipment or hand tools to trench or bore 6-8 inches deep up to 100 feet.
• Take photos and complete documentation for billing and safety records.
• Coordinate with utility reps, property owners, and teammates as needed.
