Job summary

USIC seeks dedicated Drop Bury Technicians to perform underground locate and bury work at residential and commercial sites. You will locate utilities, mark features on-site, and perform trenching or boring of 6-8 inch depths while documenting each step for compliance and invoicing.

Qualifications

• Ability to work outdoors in varied weather conditions.
• Valid driver's license and a safe driving record.
• Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. and perform manual labor.
• Ability to pass a drug screen (safety-sensitive position).

Responsibilities

• Drive company vehicle to outdoor job sites and perform locates and drop bury tickets.
• Locate and mark underground facilities using records, maps and prints.
• trench or bore cable lines typically 6-8 inches deep using hand tools or digging equipment.
• Take photos and complete documentation for billing and compliance.
• Interact with utility representatives, customers, property owners, and teammates to coordinate work safely.
