ELM Utility Services in Bellevue/Newcastle, WA is hiring a Utility Locate Technician responsible for locating and marking underground utilities to prevent excavation damage. You will operate a company vehicle and use marking paints, flags, and field tech tools to complete daily locate routes.

Starting pay ranges from $25.50 to $32.00 per hour, with comprehensive benefits including medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, PTO, 401(k), and holiday pay, plus travel-ready eligibility

Qualifications

• Pass a pre-employment drug test, motor vehicle record, and background check.
• Must be at least 18 years old and have a high school diploma or GED.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Passport or enhanced license required for occasional travel to Canada for work-related assignments.

Responsibilities

• Work independently outdoors with a company vehicle to complete a route of locate requests.
• Locating and marking underground utilities using paints, flags, and markers.
• Receive daily tasks via mobile work system.
• Be available for on-call rotation and overtime, including nights and weekends.
