Job summary

The Davey Tree Expert Company is seeking an experienced Trimmer to join our Hudson, OH team. This on-site role involves climbing and pruning trees for major electric utility providers, with CDL or climbing experience preferred. You’ll work with a crew, use chainsaws, chippers, and aerial lifts, and contribute to safe, efficient service.

Qualifications

• Must have valid driver’s license.
• Preferred CDL‑A or CDL‑B with Air Brake Endorsement.
• Experience in tree trimming/line clearance is preferred.
• Willingness to complete Davey Tree orientation and safety courses.

Responsibilities

• Climb trees using DdRT/MRS or SRT/SRS systems.
• Perform pruning and removal for utility clients with safety.
• Repair damaged trees near utility lines.
• Maintain and operate chainsaws, chippers, aerial lifts and related tools.
• Collaborate with crew and foreperson to complete jobs.
