Job summary

Davey Resource Group, Inc. is seeking a Vegetation Management professional to help maintain safe utility infrastructure and protect natural resources. You will conduct field inspections, interpret GIS data, and collaborate with project teams to implement vegetation solutions.

Qualifications

• Passion for outdoors in varying terrain and weather
• Ability to read GIS maps and spatial data
• Strong communication and teamwork skills
• Organized and detail-oriented; comfortable using mobile tech
• Valid driver’s license with clean record
• Ability to operate a 4x4 vehicle and travel within service area
• Knowledge of local tree species identification and growth patterns
• ISA Arborist certification is a plus

Responsibilities

• Conduct vegetation inspections along utility rights-of-way
• Identify tree and brush management needs and recommend treatments
• Support Integrated Vegetation Management and environmental projects
• Use GIS mapping and mobile tech to document field data
• Evaluate terrain, habitat, and environmental conditions in project areas
• Collaborate with planners, project managers, and field crews
• Help utilities maintain compliance, reliability, and safety
