Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for a Trimmer Trainee. This entry-level role offers on-the-job training in a nationwide utility vegetation team, trimming and removing trees to maintain clearance for powerlines and improve safety and reliability.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to walk, climb, and work from ladders at various heights in adverse weather.
• No fear of heights and good hand-eye coordination.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees, branches, trunk sections.
• Operates and services required tools/equipment.
• Cuts and splits large debris into manageable pieces.
• Loads/unloads trucks and feeds debris into a woodchipper.
• Keeps trucks and work areas clean and safe.

Skills

No fear of heights

Physical stamina (lift up to 50 lbs)

Education

High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
