Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring entry-level and skilled tree trimmers and climbers in Pearisburg, VA. On-the-job training provided. The role involves outdoor work, trimming, climbing, and operating tools to maintain clearance for powerlines.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Must be able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Must be able to climb and work from ladders, or at various heights.
• High School Diploma or equivalent preferred.
• Entry-level position, no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with the aid of a ladder or other climbing gear.
• Uses chainsaw, pruner, and related tools to cut branches and trunks.
• Operate and service required tools/equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into a woodchipper.
• Promote and maintain good customer relations and safety practices.
