Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC in Hillsville, VA is hiring entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers. On-the-job training is provided to build a career in the line clearance industry.

Crews trim, top, and reshape trees to clear utility powerlines, working in all weather conditions. This full-time, non-exempt position offers competitive hourly pay based on experience, with benefits including retirement plan and health insurance.

Qualificações

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Able to climb and work from ladders or at various heights on uneven/slippery surfaces.
• No fear of heights.
• Good hand-to-eye coordination.
• Willing to work long hours and overtime during emergencies, including holidays and weekends.
• Pre-employment drug screen, background and MVR checks may be required.
• Ability to obtain Driver's License or CDL when required.
• Ability to obtain Herbicide license when required.

Responsabilidades

• Trims and/or removes trees by climbing with ladders or from ground using saws and pruners.
• Operates and services all required tools/equipment.
• Plan, assign, direct, and coordinate work.
• Promote good customer relations and crew safety.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris into woodchipper.
• Maintain equipment and work areas in an orderly condition.
