Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers. This full-time role offers on-the-job training and a route to a career in the line clearance industry.

You will trim, top, and reshape trees to clear powerlines, operate saws and chippers, and work outdoors in all weather. A valid driver’s license and ability to work at heights are preferred; overtime may apply.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years or older.
• Must be able to work at heights and perform physically demanding tasks.
• No prior experience required for entry-level roles; willingness to learn on the job.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees by climbing or from ground using saws and equipment.
• Operate and maintain tools and equipment, including saws and chippers.
• Obtain permissions from property owners to perform work and coordinate access.
• Protect customers and crew by enforcing safety procedures and barriers.
• Load/unload trucks and assist with training new employees.
