Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is seeking entry-level and skilled Tree Trimmers and Climbers who enjoy outdoor work and challenging weather conditions. The role involves trimming, topping, and reshaping trees to provide clearance for utility lines, with on-the-job training offered.

The position is full-time and non-exempt, with hourly pay based on experience. A strong safety mindset and ability to work long hours during emergencies are essential for the team.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older and able to work outdoors in all weather.
• Ability to climb, walk and work from ladders at various heights.
• Good hand-eye coordination and communication with crew and customers.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees by climbing or ground-based methods using saws and cutting tools.
• Operates and maintains tools and equipment required for trimming and tree removal.
• Plans and coordinates work with the crew and communicates with property owners for access and interruptions.
• Prepares worksites, sets up barriers and flags for safety, and ensures public safety around work areas.
• Loads, unloads, and manages brush and debris; participates in training new staff.
