Job summary

Asplundh is seeking an entry-level to skilled Tree Trimmer-442 to join our outdoor crews. You’ll trim, top, and reshape trees to clear power lines, often climbing with ladders or operating equipment.

On-job training is provided, and work spans all weather conditions across our nationwide operations. We offer full-time, non-exempt roles with hourly pay based on experience, and a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Ability to walk, climb, and work from ladders or at various heights.
• Ability to obtain knowledge to identify tree and shrub species.
• No fear of heights.
• Willing and able to work long hours and overtime during emergencies.

Responsibilities

• Trims and removes trees by climbing with ladders or working from ground.
• Operates and maintains tools/equipment such as chainsaws and pruners.
• Plan, direct, and coordinate work with crew.
• Obtain permission from property owners to trim or remove trees.
• Promote good customer relations and safety in all tasks.
