Job summary

Asplundh Tree Expert, LLC is hiring for Trimmer/Climber roles in Florida. On-the-job training is provided for entry-level hires and experienced climbers.

The job involves outdoor tree trimming to clear utility lines, with opportunities to work in all weather conditions and at varying heights. The team works outdoors using hand and power tools; responsibilities include safety, equipment maintenance, and assisting in training new staff.

Qualifications

• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Able to work with hands above head for extended periods.
• Climb and work from ladders or at various heights in all weather.
• No fear of heights and good hand–eye coordination.
• Entry-level position; on-the-job training provided.

Responsibilities

• Trim and remove trees, branches, and trunk sections.
• Operate and service tools and equipment.
• Load/unload trucks and feed debris to woodchipper.
• Ensure safe work areas and route traffic as needed.
• Assist in training new employees and maintain tool/lawn condition.
• Maintain housekeeping and report repairs when necessary.
