Job summary

SavATree is hiring for a General Tree Care Team member to work outdoors, prune and care for trees on client properties, and operate industry equipment. You will join a crew focused on high-quality services and safety while engaging with diverse landscapes.

The role requires climbing ability, adherence to safety standards, and experience with pruning, removals, and equipment operation. CDL is a plus and legal work in the U.S. is required. We offer training and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and know their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).
• Must have valid U.S. driver’s license; CDL a plus; must be authorized to work in the U.S.

Responsibilities

• Daily focus is working together on a General Tree Care crew to provide high quality tree care to our clients.
• Involved in pruning, removals, cable bracing and other tree care concepts.
• Safely operate all equipment and perform assigned tasks while delivering excellent service.
