Job summary

SavATree is hiring for the General Tree Care Team to care for trees, shrubs and landscapes on client properties across the community. This outdoor role focuses on pruning, removals, cable bracing and related tree care tasks, delivering high-quality service with safety at the forefront. Team members climb, use equipment such as bucket trucks, and transport gear to job sites while maintaining collegial, safety-conscious work habits.

A valid U.S. driver's license and the right to work in the U.S.

Qualifications

• Experience with proper pruning practices including large shade trees and ornamentals.
• Ability to identify native and introduced tree and shrub species and know their characteristics.
• Ability to climb without spurs.
• Experience with tree care safety standards.
• Practical knowledge of chainsaw and equipment operation.
• Experience with aerial lifts (bucket truck).

Responsibilities

• Prune, remove, cable brace and perform related tree care tasks on client properties.
• Safely operate equipment and transport gear to job sites.
• Work as part of a General Tree Care crew to deliver high-quality service.
• Collaborate with team to ensure safety and customer satisfaction.
