Job summary

SavATree is hiring a Tree Climber in Training on our General Tree Care Team. You’ll work outdoors on client properties, performing climbing and pruning duties using safe techniques while helping preserve landscapes.

The role emphasizes safety, teamwork, and attention to detail. You will operate climbing gear and equipment, learn pruning methods, and pursue skill development toward a certified climber role; CDL Class A is preferred and a valid license is required.

Qualifications

• Requires CDL Class A and climbing experience.

Responsibilities

• Working as part of a crew to provide high-quality tree care, including pruning, removals, and cable bracing
• Safely operating climbing gear, chainsaws, and other equipment
• Applying proper pruning techniques and tree care practices
• Following safety procedures at all times
• Delivering excellent service to clients while maintaining professional standards
