Qualifications

Love of the outdoors.
Ability to complete the Davey Tree Trimmer Orientation Program upon hire.
Ability to complete the Davey Tree First Aid, CPR, and defensive driving course upon hire.

Responsibilities

Safely lead a crew in providing arboricultural care.
Prune, thin, and remove deadwood throughout the tree canopy.
Install cables, bracing, and lightning protection systems.
Mentor crew members through the Career Development Program.

Skills

Leadership in arboricultural care

Climbing techniques (DdRT/MRS, SRT/SRS)

Knowledge of jobsite hazards

Mentorship and training

Ability to complete safety programs

Education
