Job summary

Amazon is seeking a Transportation Associate in Los Lunas, NM. You will perform trailer moves in the yard, coordinate yard activities, conduct audits, and participate in driver training programs, including CDL preparation.

You will support site operations and external carriers to ensure timely, defect-free trailer arrivals and departures. Role involves operating CMVs, learning DOT regulations, and adhering to safety policies.

Qualifications

• Hold a valid and active driver's license.
• High School diploma or equivalent.
• 21 years of age or older; English proficiency required.
• Be able to lift up to 49 pounds and endure shifts up to 12 hours.

Responsibilities

• Make safety a priority and follow safety policies for all operators and visitors.
• Move and manage trailers to ensure on-time arrivals and departures with zero defects.
• Operate CMVs in yard and loading areas as trained.
• Learn and comply with DOT regulations and Amazon policies.
• Complete vehicle inspections and report maintenance issues.
• Track hours, adhere to schedules, and work with teams across sites.
