Ferguson Construction is seeking a Survey Technician to work outdoors on diverse projects across Ohio and Indiana. The role welcomes either experienced survey professionals or graduates with the right education and ambition, emphasizing integrity, teamwork, growth, and quality workmanship.

You will assist with boundary and topographic stakeouts, collect field data, and perform deed/easement research while collaborating with design and construction teams to keep projects on track.

Qualifications

• Completion of a surveying certification program or related civil engineering/surveying education.
• Experience in the field is a plus but not required.
• Familiarity with GPS receivers and robotic total stations is helpful but can be learned.
• Strong math, organization, and problem-solving skills; detail-oriented.

Responsibilities

• Assist with boundary, topographic, utility, design, and construction stakeout surveys.
• Collect and verify field data that helps keep projects accurate and on track.
• Support surveying research, including deed, easement, and courthouse research.
• Partner closely with our design and construction teams.
• Perform quality checks to ensure survey and staking accuracy.
• Maintain survey equipment and help uphold Ferguson's high standards of quality and professionalism.
