High Steel Structures is seeking a 1st-shift Outdoor Skilled Laborer to support bridge and transportation projects. The role involves performing pre-punch/drilled hole work at splice sections, guiding Mi-Jack equipment, and handling loading and blocking for steel products.

The ideal candidate has a high school diploma or GED, willingness to work outdoors in all weather, and experience with hand/power tools. PA driver license and forklift readiness are valued assets.

Qualifikationen

• High school diploma or GED.
• Willingness to work outdoors 100% of the time year-round.
• Experience as steel erection worker or general laborer preferred.
• Experience using hand and power tools, including drills.
• Forklift certification desired, or willingness to obtain.
• Ability to read, write, and follow directions.
• Prior truck driving experience preferred.
• Willingness to learn to operate Mi-Jack equipment.
• Valid PA driver's license required.

Aufgaben

• Perform duties to pre-punch or pre-drilled holes at splice section of steel bridge girders.
• Match mark plates as necessary.
• Walk with and guide the Mi Jack; chain products to trucks; set blocking.
• Assist with on-site iron work duties.
• Use electric drills to drill holes where needed.
