Job summary

Fleet Farm is seeking a Sporting Goods Team Lead to provide an exceptional customer experience through training, merchandising, and product knowledge. The role entails guiding Team Members, managing daily merchandising, and ensuring accurate product facing and pricing across the zone.

Responsibilities include reading planograms, promoting loyalty programs, and collaborating with the Resets team to execute floor changes. Willingness to work a flexible schedule is required.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED preferred.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays is required.
• 1-3 years of previous related retail or leadership experience preferred.
• Proven ability to lead, coach, and build relationships in a fast-paced environment.
• Must be able to direct and motivate a diverse population that includes full-time and part-time team members.
• Demonstrated ability to act decisively and implement solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to multi-task and respond flexibly in a quick changing environment.

Responsibilities

• Train, develop, and lead Team Members within assigned zone.
• Assign, prioritize, and execute daily merchandising needs.
• Provide in-aisle customer service and experience.
• Ensure proper facing of products and general recovery of zone.
• Execute price changes and marketing sets.
• Coordinate with Resets and Project Coordinator for floor merchandising resets.
• Read and implement planograms based on deadlines.
• Promote Fleet Farm loyalty program, credit card, and other initiatives.
