Job summary

Lanterns Global seeks two Spanish-speaking Teaching Assistants for the El Jardin program in Watsonville, CA. This part-time position supports outdoor Spanish immersion activities, gardening, nature studies, and art, helping students learn through hands-on experiences.

Candidates should be fluent in Spanish and English, have 2+ years of childcare experience, and be able to lift up to 50 lbs. Class times are 10am-2pm on Mondays and Fridays, with onsite setup prior to class.

Qualifications

• Fluent in Spanish and English, with ability to communicate clearly with students and parents.
• Past experience caring for children in after-school programs, daycare, or camps is preferred.
• Willingness to work outdoors in varied weather and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Reliable, punctual, and able to collaborate with a team to support student learning.
