Job summary

Strides of Strength Therapeutic Services, Inc. seeks a Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist to join a nature-based outpatient team. This role blends traditional therapy with outdoor and equine-assisted approaches to create engaging, functional sessions.

You will collaborate with trained equine handlers and a multidisciplinary team to help patients achieve meaningful communication outcomes, with flexible scheduling and opportunities for specialized training.

Qualifications

• Licensed Speech-Language Pathologist (SLP) (or eligible for licensure).
• New graduates are encouraged to apply.
• Interest in or willingness to learn equine-assisted therapy.
• Comfort working outdoors and in a nontraditional setting.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a compassionate approach.
• Horse experience is a plus, but not required.

Responsibilities

• Provide speech and language therapy services in a nature-based outpatient setting.
• Incorporate hippotherapy techniques into treatment sessions (training provided).
• Collaborate with horse handlers to ensure safe, effective therapy experiences.
