Job summary

Outdoor Dimensions seeks a reliable Installer to support the delivery, installation, maintenance, and removal of commercial signage and related products. This hands-on role requires lifting, driving company vehicles, and working with a crew to meet project deadlines.

You will inspect vehicles, assemble sign components, apply vinyl graphics, read installation drawings, and communicate progress to supervisors while upholding safety and DOT requirements on every site.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.
• Minimum six months of sign installation experience.
• Valid driver's license with acceptable driving record.
• Ability to operate company vehicles and equipment safely.
• Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills.
• Willingness to overtime, weekends, and occasional overnight travel.
• Ability to read and follow work orders, installation instructions and basic drawings.
• Ability to work safely in a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities

• Safely operate company vehicles to transport signs, materials, equipment, and tools to and from job sites.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections and report maintenance or safety concerns.
• Load, secure, transport, and unload materials per safety procedures.
• Assist with installation, removal, repair, and maintenance of signs and related products.
• Dig holes, prepare foundations, set poles, and perform site prep activities.
• Assemble sign components and hardware per specs and drawings.
• Apply vinyl graphics and lettering to surfaces.
• Operate hand and power tools safely on site.
• Assist with traffic control and site setup for safety.
• Communicate progress and issues to supervisors.
• Complete required paperwork and maintain records accurately.
• Maintain vehicles and equipment in good condition.
• Follow safety policies, DOT regulations, and customer site requirements.
• Work overtime, weekends, and travel as needed.
• Operate specialty equipment when trained and authorized.
