Job summary

Grand Canyon Resort Corporation's Grand Canyon West location is seeking a Security Guard - GCW to insure the safety of facilities, guests, and staff. You will monitor guest movements, act as a Hualapai ambassador, and assist with vehicle fleet tasks.

This non-exempt role requires good communication, a valid driver's license, and a clean background. Preference may be given to Hualapai Tribal members; applicants must pass background checks and a pre-employment drug screen.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid driver’s license with clean driving record.
• Clean criminal record.
• Preference to Hualapai Tribal members.

Responsibilities

• Insures the security of facilities, resources, employees and guests.
• Monitors guest movements and escorts from premises.
• Assists with vehicle fleet maintenance and fueling.
• Patrols grounds and responds to incidents.
• Provides information about GCW, Hualapai history and culture.
• Upholds entry controls at points of access.
