Job summary

Hualapai Nation's Grand Canyon West location is seeking a Security Guard to protect facilities, guests, and staff. You will monitor guest movements, assist visitors, and help manage the vehicle fleet, with duties at Guano Point, Eagle Point and Skywalk.

The role requires outdoor work, physical stamina to lift up to 50 lbs, and the ability to work varied schedules, including weekends and holidays. A clean background and a valid driver's license are preferred.

Qualifications

• Requires good oral communication and interpersonal skills.
• Valid driver's license with clean driving record.
• Criminal background satisfactory.
• High school diploma or GED required.

Responsibilities

• Man entry point station and verify paid entrance for GCW parking area.
• Patrol Guano Point, Eagle Point and Skywalk; assist guests as needed.
• Monitor guest activity and escort away anyone under the influence.
• Answer visitor questions and share GCW history and culture information.
• Provide security escort for money transports on location.
• Monitor grounds for trash and debris by foot or vehicle.
• Check vehicle fluid levels and assist with basic maintenance tasks.
• Fuel vehicles and ensure tools/equipment are aboard.
• Maintain logs of vehicle maintenance.
• Perform other duties as assigned.
