Job summary

Finley Asphalt & Sealing is seeking a hard-working Sealcoat Crew Laborer to support asphalt maintenance and sealcoating operations. The role involves surface prep, sealcoat application, equipment handling, and teamwork to ensure quality results.

This is a hands-on outdoor position requiring strong work ethic. Responsibilities include surface cleaning, applying sealcoat, establishing safe work zones, and assisting with related tasks.

Qualifications

• Must be at least 18 years old.
• Ability to work outdoors in hot weather and perform physical labor.
• Dependable, punctual and willing to learn.

Responsibilities

• Prepare asphalt surfaces by cleaning, blowing, edging, and debris removal.
• Mix, load, and apply sealcoat material to driveways, parking lots, and roadways.
• Use brushes, squeegees, and spray systems to apply sealcoat evenly.
• Set up cones, barricades, and signage for safe work zones.
• Maintain tools, hoses, and equipment; assist with clean-up at shift end.
• Assist with crack filling, line striping, and related tasks as needed.
• Follow safety protocols and wear PPE at all times.
• Work cooperatively with team and take direction from foreman.
• Perform additional duties as assigned.
