The City of Peoria is hiring Street Maintenance Worker in the Asphalt Maintenance unit. This full-time role performs street repairs, pothole filling, debris removal, traffic control, and related tasks outdoors.

Applicants should enjoy outdoor work, have basic construction knowledge, and work well in teams. Requirements include high school graduation or GED, 6 months’ experience, physical stamina to lift 50+ pounds, and a valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License.

Qualifications

• High school graduation or equivalency is required.
• 6 months’ experience in a similar role preferred.
• The job requires physical labor and the ability to lift 50+ pounds.
• Valid Arizona Class D Driver’s License is required upon hire.

Responsabilités

• Place hot asphalt for repair and fill potholes.
• Remove obstructions and debris from roadways and provide traffic control.
• Attend trainings and perform assigned asphalt maintenance tasks as needed.
