Job summary

The City of Peoria is hiring Street Maintenance Workers for the Street Maintenance Unit (Asphalt). This labor-intensive role involves laying hot asphalt, filling potholes, clearing debris, and managing traffic control, outdoors in a physically demanding environment.

A strong teamwork attitude and basic construction knowledge are highly valued. Applicants should have a high school diploma or equivalent and a valid Arizona Class D driver’s license.

Qualifications

• Outdoor outdoor work in varying weather conditions.

Responsibilities

• Place hot asphalt for repairs and fill potholes.
