Resource Environmental Solutions LLC (RES) seeks a Restoration Manager I to lead restoration projects in the field, ensuring safety, efficiency, and high ecological standards. You will operate equipment, manage invasive species, and guide crews while supporting scheduling and reporting.

The role involves 50% travel with overnight stays, with hotel and per diem provided. Ideal candidates are outdoor‑oriented, with strong leadership and a commitment to protecting natural resources.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in applied sciences, natural resources, or related field (or equivalent restoration experience).
• 5+ years of ecological restoration experience.
• CPR, AED, and First Aid certification.
• Valid DOT medical card.
• S130/190 wildfire certifications (if region requires).
• Proficiency with Word, Excel, mapping software, and GPS systems.
• Strong knowledge of ecological restoration practices, invasive species management, and QA/QC processes.

Responsabilités

• Lead daily tailgate safety meetings and coach team members.
• Operate, maintain, and train others on equipment and vehicles (skid steers, tractors, UTVs).
• Develop site-specific ERP plans and ensure safety reporting and inspections.
• Implement invasive species and herbicide management programs and train others.
• Support prescribed burns where required, ensuring safe execution.
• Oversee subcontractors and vendors for quality and compliance.
• Schedule and track construction and maintenance tasks with project managers.
• Complete admin tasks like timecards, expense reports, and compliance reporting.
• Provide leadership by training, hiring, orienting, and evaluating crew members.
• Engage with clients, stakeholders, and the public to communicate project updates.
