Job summary

Commonwealth of Pennsylvania seeks an Outdoor Recreation and Interpretation Program Coordinator to lead statewide coordination, development, and evaluation of outdoor recreation and environmental education programs. You will train field personnel and educators, and partner with agencies, schools, and organizations to advance initiatives.

The role focuses on content development, program evaluation, and technical guidance, supporting high quality learning experiences across statewide projects.

Qualifications

• Requires a Bachelor's degree in natural resource management or related field.
• Experience leading statewide outdoor recreation or environmental education programs.
• Strong ability to coordinate partnerships and deliver training.

Responsibilities

• Lead statewide coordination, development, and evaluation of outdoor recreation programs.
• Develop and deliver training sessions, workshops, and lesson plans for staff and educators.
• Coordinate with agencies, schools, and organizations on initiatives.
• Create educational materials, virtual programs, and resources for public use.
• Assess program effectiveness and recommend statewide improvements.
• Provide technical guidance and interpret policies for field staff.
