Job summary

Granite State Scenic Railway in Lincoln, NH is seeking a hands-on Rail Bike Manager to lead and develop our team, champion safe and reliable daily operations, and deliver an outstanding guest experience.

You will oversee safety, staffing, maintenance, scheduling, and guest inquiries, with responsibilities including safety meetings, incident reporting, and ensuring compliance with state and federal requirements. This is a full-time role offering a competitive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Previous supervisory or management experience.
• Excellent communication and people skills.
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
• Knowledge of railroad operations and safety is preferred.
• Valid driver's license.
• Ability to lift and move rail bikes when needed.

Responsibilities

• Lead, train, schedule daily attendance, ridership, and operational metrics.
• Run daily safety meetings and ensure safety procedures.
• Inspect, clean, maintain, and repair rail bikes, facilities, and equipment.
• Move rail bikes for operation or storage.
• Assist guests with reservations and questions.
• Investigate incidents and implement corrective actions.
