Job summary

The Pond Guy is seeking a Field Service Technician to install, troubleshoot, and repair fountain, aeration, and other pond equipment at customer sites. You will travel to locations, work independently in the field, and apply mechanical and electrical skills to diagnose issues and return systems to service.

This full-time, year-round position emphasizes safety, customer service, and documentation, with cross-training in pond management.

Qualifications

• 3–5 years of technical or mechanical maintenance experience with hands-on electrical troubleshooting.
• Valid Michigan driver's license with clean record; ability to obtain DOT and Chauffeur licenses.
• Strong communication skills and proficiency with service software.

Responsibilities

• Travel to customer locations to complete scheduled service calls and repairs.
• Install, troubleshoot, diagnose, maintain, and repair fountains, aeration systems, pumps, motors, controls, wiring, and related pond and lake equipment.
• Use testing and diagnostic equipment to identify failures and verify repairs.
• Perform preventative maintenance and document findings, work orders, and parts used.
• Communicate clearly with customers about issues, pond conditions, and recommended solutions.
